Testing Dan's new Phiray: First impression on switching on the camera, the vision of two spheres delicately iridescent with pearly pink in the semi-darkness: its fascinating beauty, plasma spirals unfurling their star-like hair inside and outside the sphere. My gaze feeds on the inner life that the camera exudes. At once opalescent light and earthly power, I feel the profound strength and generosity of the matrix. Without really knowing how, I associate the sphere with the mystery of intra-uterine life, and think that the amniotic fluid is not simply aquatic, but that it vibrates plasmically like what the device is telling me.
